Literature and patent research regarding the topics of fuel cell development / design of a bipolar plate
Development of bipolar plates for fuel cell applications
Multidisciplinary component design using thermal, mechanical finite element analysis and flow simulation
Familiarization with CAD modeling and component design
Evaluation of different concepts
Planning, construction and testing of functional samples and presentation of the results
You are pursuing a degree in process engineering, chemical engineering, mechanical engineering, energy technology or similar
You have an interest in fuel cells and a basic understanding of them
You already have knowledge of thermal and mechanical finite element analysis and flow simulation as well as CAD (SolidWorks at best)
You also have knowledge of mass and heat transport and a very good spatial imagination
You are confident in using Microsoft Office
A quick grasp and willingness to familiarize yourself with new software and a hands-on mentality characterize you
Good written and spoken English skills round off your profile
