We are seeking a smart, motivated team player to take on the role of Sales and Solutions Engineer. You will play a crucial role in understanding client needs, providing technical solutions, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Be a lead technical resource on customer and partner engagements

  • Develop and deliver technical presentations and demonstrations

  • Define and develop the technical aspects of RFP/RFI responses and proposals

  • Perform on-site assessments with the goal of identifying how Vigilent solutions can deliver value and improve overall site operations

  • Work with product and engineering teams to communicate client feedback and drive product improvements

  • Stay up to date with industry trends and product developments

  • Participate in conferences and regional events

  • Conduct product training sessions for customers and sales team members

  • Provide post-sales support to the operations team, and help with troubleshooting as needed

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Belief that technology, business and a healthy planet are compatible

  • Confident self-starter who can work independently

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills

  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

  • Ability to understand customer needs and translate them into technical solutions

  • Strong technical background (B.S. Engineering, Data Science, Mathematics or equivalent) and analytical skills

HIRING DETAILS

  • Job Location: Work from home in SF Bay Area or elsewhere in North America

  • Start Date: Immediate

  • Hire Type: Full-Time Permanent Employee, Direct Hire

  • Travel: 25+% to visit customers and partners, both domestic and global as well as our SF Bay Area HQ
