Your main responsibilities are

  • Plans, organizes and delegates FS/WS jobs
  • Allocates manpower for FS/WS jobs. Updates the FS planning board.
  • Coordinates and provides logistics support for all FS/WS jobs. Liaises with customers, Account Managers, FS/WS Manager and Network Companies/Product Companies
  • Organize sub-contractors as required
  • Ensures that FS/WS personnel are briefed prior to the execution of the jobs
  • Ensures that jobs are coordinated and executed to full customer satisfaction
  • Ensures that tools and other company assets are returned after job completion
  • Ensures that all job related expenses are captured and booked into the job
  • Monitor costs on the job and take appropriate action
  • Ensures that job related correspondence are maintained in the respective job pockets
  • Reviews FS/WS Service Reports prior to the approval.
  • Reviews completed FS/WS jobs for invoicing
  • Assist the FS Operations/Workshop Manager as required
  • Ensure that FS/WS processes are effectively implemented and maintained
  • Demonstrate commitment to OH&S, Environmental and Quality Systems and actively participate in Wartsila initiatives
  • Be a Team player: support colleagues and superiors, share information, contribute to a friendly work atmosphere.

 

You will shine in this role when you have:

Education: 

  • Bachelor’s in mechanical engineering or equivalent with 3-5 years’ work experience in a field service admin / coordination role in a multicultural environment.

 

Experience:

  • Good presentation, communication and team working skills
  • Motivation to learn new things and high attention detail
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask, including flexibility
  • Reporting and analysing skills
  • Knowledge of sourcing process in general and related tools 
  • Workplace ICT equipment & applications (M-Files, CRM (SWF), SAP/ WEP experience and MS office tools)
  • Ability to work autonomously but be a proactive team player, who is comfortable brainstorming, creating, and delivering information and material to both small and large groups of internal stakeholders.
  • Positive and helpful
  • Good command of English.
