  • Reporting to: Operations Manager.
  • Department: Operations and Maintenance.
  • Job Location: Tierra Amarilla, Copiapó.
  • Travel Required: Nacional. – 50%.

Mainstream Renewable Power is a leading developer of renewable energy projects worldwide focusing on onshore and offshore wind projects as well as emerging renewable technologies. Mainstream will construct and operate renewable energy assets globally and is committed to delivering its projects to the highest safety standards.


What are we looking for?

Supervise and coordinate all areas involved in the operation of the solar plant, in order to guarantee and ensure the maximization of the efficiency of the asset and safety of all workers, thus reducing the possible inconveniences that may arise and comply with the energy commitments budgeted by Mainstream Renewable Power and increase its sales, ensuring the operation and maintaining the safety of the people working in it.



What Challenges will you face?

  • Supervise the execution of maintenance plans for the entire solar plant.
  • Coordinate all areas involved in the operation and maintenance of the solar plant, being the first point of contact between the local community, local authorities, landowners and MRP's management team.
  • Provide daily, weekly, monthly and annual reports with reviews containing the main aspects of the plant's operations and reporting all incidents.
  • Provide a response that allows detecting possible failures and contingencies in the operation or maintenance of the machines of the plant in time, ensuring that they have all their resources.
  • Manage and control the budget (OPEX/CAPEX).
  • Monitor and supervise all contractor performance.
  • Review reports and supervise the management of the control centre.


What knowledge do you require?
Educational, knowledge and experience background


  • Technician, Electrical, Mechanical, Civil Engineer, or equivalent background.
    Experience
  • Over 3 years of experience in the operation of wind farms or photovoltaic Plants.
  • Demonstrable experience operating with Control Centres.
  • Demonstrable experience dealing with landowners in similar plants or projects.
  • Excellent IT skills, including experience with MS Office package and SharePoint.


Language skills

  • English language is an advantage.


Other Skills

  • Deep understanding of the main components of a Wind / Solar Power Plant.
  • Understanding of main Key Performance indicators in a Wind / Solar Power Plant.
  • Excellent skills working under pressure, attention to details, not losing the broader scope.
  • Organized, efficient and good at prioritizing tasks, delivering on time and quality.


Willing to travel:

  • Based in Copiapó with availability to travel.
