Laboratory Development Engineer - Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) (m/f/d)

Your mission during this flight:

As a team member of the Laboratory Testing Team, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks that ensure the effective testing and validation of aircraft systems.

Here are your key responsibilities:

• You will design, develop, and maintain test benches for various aircraft systems, including Flight Controls, Avionics, and Propulsion.
• You will define hardware and software requirements for test setups, and assist with the procurement of necessary components.
• You will collaborate with mechanical and electrical engineers to develop, modify, and retrofit test benches.
• You will work alongside test engineers to develop realistic and representative testing scenarios.
• You will ensure configuration control and calibration of test bench equipment.
• You will modify the test bench signals database following Interface Control Documents (ICD) provided by suppliers.
• You will troubleshoot and support test campaigns across different environments, including structural, propulsion, and wind-tunnel tests.
• You will diagnose and resolve issues during testing to guarantee reliable and accurate results.
• You will automate and optimize testing processes for greater efficiency and scalability.
• You will contribute to the development of testing strategies, ensuring adherence to standards.
