HSSE Director
- Your mission at Climeworks is to own the safety vision for Climeworks and breed safety as a value through the company. You will be required to develop strategic vision as well as design and implement systems that will scale with Climeworks as we grow.
- You develop and implement strategic HSSE plans and policies across the organization.
- You liaise with regulatory bodies in all jurisdictions with which Climeworks operates.
- You ensure safety standards of Climeworks vendors.
- You define, design, and implement the safety program for Climeworks' production facilities, construction sites, as well as our test facilities and laboratories.
- You develop, design, and implement the safety program for our corporate workplace.
- You train and sustain safety programs developed by the team.
- You provide executive reporting of safety statistics and actions taken.
- You hold a bachelor's degree or higher in health safety or a related field, along with an internationally recognized safety certification.
- You possess 10+ years of industry work experience.
- You have experience in the relevant industry.
- You are an expert in corporate workplace safety.
- You specialize in construction safety and excel in production safety.
- You prioritize health & well-being.
- You demonstrate awareness of COHS (Corporate Occupational Health and Safety).
- You provide direct and clear instructions; you value teamwork, and you emphasize clear communication.
- You are willing to travel up to 50%.
