The opportunity
Hitachi Energy, High Voltage Products, is renowned worldwide as a specialist for power transmission and distribution. As a Local Product Group of High Voltage Products, the High Current Systems unit is responsible for the development, sales, manufacturing, and service of generator circuit-breaker systems. We offer the widest and most modern portfolio of GCBs in SF6 technology across a range of short circuit ratings from 63 kA to 300 kA and continuous currents from 6,300 A to over 50,000 A.
Our GCB factory is the only one in the world, setting us apart in the industry. GCBs increase protection of key equipment like generators and power transformers, ensure power plant availability, simplify operational procedures and reduce costs. We offer unique features like lean manufacturing for the shortest delivery time and the ability to participate in Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) personally or remotely using Remote Factory Acceptance Test (RFAT) from any place with access to internet connection.

How you’ll make an impact
Lead Engineered product projects, managing all phases from sales handover to project closure
Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, ensuring clear communication
Serve as the primary contact for international customers, leading meetings and factory acceptance tests
Identify, assess, and manage project risks while pursuing opportunities
Monitor project progress, resources, and financials effectively
Handle change, claim and risk management and report project status
Contribute to process improvements and participate in strategic initiatives
Your background
3-5 years of experience as a Project Manager in an industrial environment
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective stakeholder engagement
Technical educational background, Bsc or Msc or similar
Experience in leading customer meetings and presentations
Good understanding of risk management, financial reporting, and budget control
Professional certifications are highly valuable
English is mandatory and German a plus
Team spirit, high social competence, and enjoyment of working in a multicultural environment
