At ClimateForge.ai, we’re on a mission to combat the climate crisis using AI-powered energy solutions. Our platform empowers contractors to make sustainable decisions through predictive models that assess environmental impact. We aim to accelerate innovation in climate resilience and sustainability by securing essential funding to expand our platform’s reach. To help us achieve this, we are looking for a dedicated Grant Specialist with a passion for environmental advocacy and experience in securing U.S.-based funding for climate and technology projects.
The Role:
The Grant Specialist will identify, prepare, and submit grant applications for climate and clean energy initiatives within the U.S. This role will be essential in obtaining the funding needed to advance our mission of using AI to drive positive climate action. You will work closely with our leadership to develop compelling proposals that align with our objectives and those of grant-funding bodies, including government agencies and private foundations. The role begins with a 2-month trial period, giving us a chance to assess alignment and productivity before committing to a long-term contract.

Monitor grant compliance and reporting requirements post-award.
Maintain a database of funding opportunities, deadlines, and submissions.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in U.S.-based grant writing, especially in climate, energy, or tech sectors.
Strong understanding of U.S. federal, state, and private funding processes and requirements.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to craft persuasive, mission-aligned proposals.
Self-motivated, with strong research skills and an eye for detail.
Passion for climate action and sustainability.

Trial-to-Hire Pathway: Start with a 2-month trial period to ensure a mutual fit before moving to a full-time contract.
Application Process:
If you’re driven by purpose and excited about securing funding to advance climate technology, we want to hear from you. Please send your resume and a brief cover letter describing why you’re interested in ClimateForge.ai and the role of a Grant Specialist.
