The role

In line with our ongoing growth and success in securing and executing major irrigation infrastructure projects across Pakistan, we invite expressions of interest for the position of Senior Hydraulic Engineer for water irrigation project based in Sindh, Pakistan. This role presents a unique opportunity to contribute to one of the country's most impactful irrigation initiatives while supporting SMEC's ambitious growth objectives. We are seeking a candidate with substantial experience in hydraulic engineering, ideally with an international background, to bring global expertise and innovative solutions to this critical project.

Suitable applicants will have/be:

• Tertiary qualifications or a related discipline (e.g. Masters in Civil, Water Resources or Hydrology Engineering)
• Minimum 10 years of experience in designing large hydraulic infrastructure
• Has at least 7 years of relevant international experience.
• Skilled in hydraulic modelling for canals and related structures.
