Main Responsibilities
1) Steer procurement transformation for the organisation, including:
Implement sound procurement governance - Procurement Policies, Procedures & templates
Development of standard contract documents and templates
Investigate and implement procurement best practices to address procurement challenges
2) Procurement performance monitoring, including:
Market analysis reports - market product trends and updates
Price tracking – maintain price & offer databases and forecasts
Conduct and update Spend analysis, CAPEX estimations
Measure performance against targets
3) Conduct & Assist with Procurement audits and ISO certifications
4) Supplier scouting and qualification
5) Managing staff and staff performance management
Key Requirements
A few years’ experience in directly supervising/managing staff and their performance.
A good foundation in procurement management, with experience in sourcing, tenders/RFQs, evaluation, contract negotiation and placement
Developing or improving procurement processes and procedures for a company
Developing and implementing procurement standard, templates, guides, training
Solid experience in renewable energy procurement, preferably on both the Operational & Maintenance phase and the new build/project phase
Performing procurement market analysis, price estimations, CAPEX or OPEX cost reduction initiatives
Developing and implementing procurement strategies
Knowledge of procurement systems/ERP systems and some experience in improving procurement process flows for such systems
Presenting to and interacting with internal committees and executives
Analytical, problem solving, financial skills
