CIMMYT has opened a call for applications for Administrative Assistant related positions such as:
- Grant Management Analyst.
- Administrative Assistant.
The selected person will work at CIMMYT's headquarters, located in Texcoco, State of Mexico, 45 minutes from Mexico City.
General activities for Grant Mangement Analyst:
- Coordination of grant management steps.
- Improve the donor relations.
- Support to internal and extern audits.
- Attend to meetings with the CGIAR.
- Ensure grant information, documentation and archiving are handled correctly.
General activities for Administrative Assistant:
- Support in all administrative activities related to consultants and students of the Program.
- Develop database, directories, manage spreadsheets, etc.
- Register consultants' bank information in the payment system.
- Integrate and manage consultant and student files.
- Ensure the proper loading of information in the corresponding databases.
Requirements
Submit your application if you have these minimum qualifications, skills, and attitudes:
- The selected candidate must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, International Relations, Public Administration, Social Sciences, or Project Management are beneficial.
- Master’s degree in a relevant field such as Business Administration, Finance, Public Administration, or Project Management is consider a strong asset.
- Practical experience or knowledge in managing grants, including proposal writing, budget, management, compliance with regulations and reporting.
- 3+ years of experience in grant administration/administrative assistant.
- Proven experience in data analysis.
- Advanced level of English.
- Proficiency in project management software, financial analysis tools and office software, especially Excel or similar tools.
- The candidate must demonstrate the following competencies: teamwork, excellent communication skills, attention to the detail, organization and proactivity.
