9Zero - SF Community Manager

Launched during San Francisco Climate Week 2024, 9Zero is uniting the climate community. We provide access to the ecosystem, workspace, or events, and we’re solving for connectivity to get everyone moving faster. Your impact:

• Exceed expectations for every experience at 9Zero, so that members are highly engaged and guests see the value in becoming a member.

• Support member and guest experience with behind-the-scenes planning, preparation and problem-solving to make sure the space grows smoothly. You'll constantly be speaking to members about how to make improvements.

You’ll achieve this impact by:

• Fostering strong relationships with members, and becoming their go-to resource for solving any kind of problem that comes up.

• Leading hospitality in the space. You’ll open the space in the morning and make sure there’s always a fresh pot of coffee, welcoming members and guests into the space, and closing up after events or at the end of the day.

• Supporting other 9Zero team members with operations, sales, marketing, and proactively finding opportunities to grow and take on new responsibilities.

• Love to roll up your sleeves to get things done, from tidying and managing kitchen inventory to troubleshooting tech issues.

• Thrive in a fast-paced, chaotic environment where we build the ship as we sail.

• Recognize that no task is too small: you roll up your sleeves wherever needed and you are able to prioritize effectively between urgent needs.

• Possess exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

• Have experience in hospitality, sales, or community-building.

The details:

• This role requires someone who can work 5 days a week (including some evenings) onsite at the 9Zero Climate Innovation Hub and Coworking space located at 350 California St, San Francisco.

• Pay Range: $65,000–$75,000 USD
