ISeeChange is an AI-powered data and engagement platform that leverages resident stories, photos, and real-time data to more efficiently and effectively monitor, manage, and design climate ready infrastructure.

Local governments, utilities, and infrastructure teams use ISeeChange to collect real-time, hyperlocal data from residents through a free, user-friendly mobile app and website.

Our AI-powered Insights Engine processes climate events as residents submit data. Alongside sensors and other third-party data streams, our customer-facing platform centralizes data and provides prioritization, prescriptive, and predictive insights to inform immediate response and longer-term planning.

We’re looking for a proven Account Executive to help us scale our enterprise sales strategy to cities, utilities, and public agencies across the US.

ISeeChange’s AI powered platform is uniquely targeting emergent adaptation needs.  With users in 118 countries and municipal and utility customers  in New Orleans, Greater Miami, and California, we are growing to 20 new regions in the next 3 years. ISeeChange will be the go-to platform for climate adaptation and response. You're a critical part of getting us there.

You will be the first dedicated sales hire for ISeeChange. Working collaboratively with our CEO, VP of Product, and Customer Success Manager you will directly influence how we approach the enterprise municipal and utility market, and have the opportunity to help develop our go-to-market engine.

Initially supporting the CEO on major accounts, you will quickly have the opportunity to close them yourself — then apply your experience to the process to increase close rates and shorten the sales cycle.

You’re a good fit if you:

  • Have a proven, verifiable record of finding, advancing, and closing, enterprise SaaS deals in B2G or CivicTech  and experience with longer, relational sales cycles.

  • Have the ability and/or desire to initiate, develop, negotiate and close complex software subscription procurement processes.

  • Have worked closely with Customer Success teams to drive strong ROI and long-term customer relationships.

  • Have worked in a startup environment where the playbook is iterative, problem-solving is critical, and success in dealing with ambiguity is necessary for innovation.

  • Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and independently, including partnering with relevant internal departments to initiate, produce, and use materials and tools you may need to close your deals.

  • Have excellent interpersonal, organization and presentation skills. You can credibly and confidently represent ISeeChange and its technologies to Customers and Partners, while actively listening for and synthesizing our Customer's problems, needs, and motivations.

  • Are low-ego, empathetic, adaptable, hard working, and incredibly ambitious.

  • Care about communities and want to work with a very passionate team about solving the technology needed for governments and utilities to manage climate change

What you will do:

  • Drive top-of-funnel efforts including lead generation through targeted outreach, conference attendance, professional organization participation, etc

  • Qualify leads and conduct multi-stakeholder discovery to identify good fits between leads and ISC.

  • Own the ensuing deals from demo through procurement stages, including mapping the complex organizations of our target customers, identifying and building relationships with champions, detractors, and other key stakeholders, and partnering with the CEO to move deals forward.

  • Lead closing on small deals, and collaborate with the CEO on closing medium and larger enterprise deals.

  • Be a CRM hawk, ensuring our lead and deal  information is detailed, accurate and up to date, in order to develop and maintain funnel reports and forecasts.

  • Actively participate in selected industry functions, such as association events  and conferences, to generate new leads and provide feedback and information on market and competitive trends. This includes traveling up to 3-4 weeks per quarter.

  • Create concise account plans for major accounts, with clear progression and a path to deal closure. Review account plans quarterly and deal closure plans and pipeline weekly with leadership.

  • Champion customer needs internally, regularly engaging with our Leadership team to influence technology features,  roadmaps and customer support processes.

  • Work with our team to develop, document and implement a consultative sales process that can scale as we grow.

  • Iterate on the current sales process to increase our close rates and shorten the sales cycles for enterprise deals

  • Provide feedback on our product marketing based on prospect feedback and other sales learnings. Lead on content development as time and interest allows.

  • Depending on your experience, manage the contracting process, , including NDAs, CEAs, statements of work, software license agreements, collaborating with CEO, legal & finance as needed.
