Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.<ul><li>Using Toolmakers microscope, position and epoxy mount detectors onto ceramic substrates within .010”</li><li>Working under Stereo Microscope, epoxy small components using tweezers, picks and other small hand tools. </li><li>Using manual gold wire bonder, wirebond detectors, substrates and packages.</li><li>Hand soldering and RF soldering of small components and wires.</li><li>Take accurate and precise measurements.</li></ul>Qualifications &amp; Competencies                                                   To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following qualifications and competencies:<ul><li>Working knowledge of the operation of bonding and assembly</li><li>Understanding and demonstrated knowledge of the following:</li><li>Read and comprehend instructions and follow established procedures.</li><li>Manual gold wire bonding</li><li>Hand soldering/RF soldering</li><li>Assembly</li><li>Epoxy applications</li><li>ESD handling</li><li>Proven experienced assembler</li><li>Possess good manual dexterity</li><li>Detail oriented.  Organized and maintain clear and accurate record keeping</li><li>Team oriented with strong sense of urgency</li><li>Excellent verbal, written and presentation communication skills</li><li>Basic computer proficiency using Microsoft Word and Excel</li><li>Displays exemplary ethics and business conduct and performs work cognizant of safe work practices</li><li>Ability to travel (domestically/internationally) approximately 0%.</li></ul>Education and/or Experience                                                 <ul><li>HS Diploma &amp; 10-15 years of experience</li><li>Experience in one or more of the following areas:<ul><li>Ability to read drawings</li><li>Wire bonding</li><li>Soldering and Assembly</li><li>Epoxy applications</li></ul></li></ul>Citizenship RequirementsDue to the type of work at the facility and certain access restrictions, successful applicants must be a U.S. Citizen.  Teledyne and all of our employees are committed to conducting business with the highest ethical standards.
