Who we are looking for

We are seeking an accomplished individual for the Application Engineering role to lead our technical sales for Arcadia products. This role is ideal for someone with a proven track record in applications engineering and design in the ECAD industry.

What you get to do

  • Deliver sales presentations and showcase product value through demonstrations.
  • Develop and present high-quality technical content, both live and on-demand, to support sales and marketing.
  • Ability to understand Customer technical and business challenges and communicate them to the product team for prioritization
  • As a technical expert, accelerate the sales process by assisting the Sales Team in driving opportunities and closing deals.
  • Expand the sales pipeline within targeted accounts, acting as the primary technical liaison.
  • Engage in strategic and tactical planning to drive and close sales opportunities.
  • Continuously expand your technical knowledge by exploring relevant content and staying updated on the Arcadia product roadmap.
  • Maintain awareness of competitor products, features, and technologies to strategically position Arcadia’s capabilities to prospects and customers.

What you bring to the Team

  • Passion for working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Proficiency in Arcadia/Zuken/Capital ECAD tools.
  • Very good understanding of the wire harness industry.
  • Strong interpersonal and group communication skills.
  • Solid understanding of Electrical design, Wire harness design, Costing, PDM, PLM and Cloud solutions.
  • Ability to align business needs with the appropriate technical solutions.
  • Capable of performing mid-level Application Engineering, Support, and Sales functions as required.
  • Ability to prioritize and execute tasks and initiatives proactively without direct supervision.
  • Willingness and ability to travel to customer sites.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in electrical, Electronics, Mechanical or a related engineering field.
  • Experience in creating technical content, conducting technical demonstrations, and presenting technical materials.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience as an application engineer for ECAD solutions.

PLEASE NOTE:

We are hiring for two positions at this time and one will be Hybrid out of our Framingham, MA office and the other can be remote (if not within a reasonable commute to Framingham, MA office)
