Landis+Gyr is seeking a Summer Intern for our Global Technology Organization starting in May 2025 through the beginning of August 2025 working fulltime hours on-site Monday through Friday at our Alpharetta, GA office. 
This is a paid position but we don't offer a housing stipend or relocation assistance so local candidates are preferred. 

Applicants must be current students working towards their Bachelors or Masters degree.

 

 

Project Overview:

  • Student will learn planning, scheduling, organizing, implementing, and controlling of projects.
  • Student will learn methodologies, standards and procedures used in various project types.
  • Student will support process and project governance activities designed to realize synergies and provide significant value across the organization.
  • L+G being a global corporation, student will potentially collaborate with team members located in various locations in the US, India, Japan and Finland.
  • Student will learn how to work in a team environment providing dedicated support to our project teams.
  • Student will learn to demonstrated leadership potential with analytical, writing, presentation and critical thinking activities.
  • The above list is not comprehensive, and other relevant tasks may be assigned as priorities dictate.

 

 

Student Objectives/Responsibilities:

  • Plan, schedule, organize, implement, and control projects.
  • Support process and project governance activities throughout the organization.
  • Create presentations, facilitate meetings and present various content to team members.

 

 

Qualifications Sought:

  • Desire to explore OR currently/previously enrolled in project management or management curriculum.
  • Strong critical thinking and analytic skills
  • Detail oriented with a high degree of accuracy
  • Experience with standard Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Problem solving and decision-making skills
  • Communication - strong written and verbal communication skills

 

 

Education/Experience  
A student working towards their Bachelors or Masters degree in Business Administration / Management of Information Systems / Management - Project Management.
