About the Role
We're seeking an exceptional GTM Principal to join our founding team and drive Ulysses' GTM strategy and revenue growth. This is a unique opportunity for an ambitious, entrepreneurial individual to shape the direction of a high-growth, deep-tech startup (nearly $1m in revenue in our first year), giving mankind dominion over our oceans and enabling active stewardship. You'll work directly with our founder, Will, to bring new products to market, scale existing products, develop go-to-market strategies, and source and close multi-million dollar deals with environmental groups, defense/security organizations and government agencies.
What You'll Do
Work with our co-founder Will to:
Drive sales in our existing seagrass restoration business.
Accelerate our journey to product-market fit with some new products by working to deeply understand customer needs and inform product development.
Develop and execute a strategic plan to achieve $3M+ in revenue in 2025.
Own top-of-funnel sales activities, including lead generation, outreach, and work with
Will on closing deals in our existing seagrass restoration business.

Nice to Haves
Founder or early employee experience at a successful startup.
You’ve either built or been a core part of building out a successful GTM process in a venture-backed startup.
You have direct experience selling to government agencies like NOAA, the US Coast Guard, and the Navy or their international equivalents.
Background in oceanography, marine biology, ocean conservation or related maritime fields.
