DEPARTMENT AND POSITION OVERVIEW:
The COO function is responsible for implementing, monitoring, and managing a comprehensive operating framework, robust Risk and Controls governance, and execution of strategic initiatives for the India platform. The department provides leadership in program management, governance, process assessment and improvement, and project support to ensure the successful execution of strategic platform wide culture and change initiatives.
This role will primarily be responsible for driving Governance, Strategy Execution, Communication and Connectivity.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Governance - Drafting and driving adherence to policy framework. Maintenance and reporting of Risk and controls governance framework. Analyze current state, understand pain points, recommend actionable and measurable improvements.
• Goals Monitoring – Periodic monitoring and reporting of India wide goals.
• Employee connectivity strategy and execution – support implementation of platform wide strategic initiatives
• Prepare materials for Global COO forum.
• Coordination of Corporate Services
• New office space including location strategy.
• Visitors Management - assist in the preparation of agenda and materials for various engagements.
• Support for branding, communications, and industry outreach
Qualifications & Experience
MBAs with a minimum of 1-2 years of experience in COO’s office with Business Management or FP&A experience.
• Strong analytical experience with excellent Excel/ PPT skills. Financial Services experience preferred.
• Excellent general management skills, organizational skills and interpersonal skills, including the ability to resolve internal differences and maintain confidentiality across a broad range of topics.
• Individual must have strong drive and initiative.
• Experience working in a matrix management environment is highly desirable.
• A forward thinking, creative individual with high ethical standards
• Superior verbal, written and presentation skills.
• Role requires individual to be nimble and flexible to balance multiple tasks simultaneously.
• The ability to take on a task and see it through to conclusion is a critical characteristic of this role.
