About the Job
We are now looking for a Quality Control (QC) & Supplier Development Engineer to join our team.
What will you be doing?
In this position, your work will include lead and manage the activities for the assigned area and create and implement the action plan for own area in co-operation with the business units.
As Quality Control (QC) and supplier development Engineer, your work will focus on these responsibilities:
- Enforce and contribute to continuously improve the QC and Expediting methods for the company supporting ongoing projects.
- Establish and follow up Inspection and Test Plans towards suppliers.
- Review and Follow ups on ITP(s) and attend inspections and tests at Supplier facilities
- Log quality punches during inspection and follow up on closing the punches with supplier.
- Report to each project during manufacturing process
- Support Purchasing in verifying if reported progress is correct.
- Non-conformances to be logged when identified.
- Audit findings to be followed up on a regular basis.
- Actively participate to relevant meetings related to Project Kick offs, PPM, Procurement plans and Commodity teams
- support internal and external audits.
- Sourcing, Supplier Development and QC have joint responsibility to inform each other when projects plan to visit suppliers, such as PPM, FAT, inspection with or without client.
