Strong background in geochemistry, computational modeling, environmental science, or a related field.
Proven experience in geochemical modeling and simulation using Python, MATLAB, R, or similar coding languages.
Familiarity with hydrological and oceanographic modeling techniques and programs, such as ROMS, cGENIE, Geochemist’s Workbench, PHREEQC, SUMO.
Strong understanding of the carbon cycle, geochemical kinetics, and oceanography.
Experience with machine learning techniques and leveraging large datasets for predictive modeling.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly changing startup environment where priorities can shift on a monthly basis.
