Job Description Summary
The Project Planner will plan a portfolio of projects as part of the US Equipment Planning team. In this role, you will develop and maintain an integrated project equipment schedule to support project reporting and on time delivery analysis. This role functions with some autonomy but is guided by established processes with defined standards of acceptability for end results.

Roles and Responsibilities
- Develops and maintains equipment schedules via Primavera P6 for assigned projects in alignment with Global Equipment Planning processes.
- Ensures equipment schedules accurately reflect project scope and execution strategy.
- Proactively monitors equipment forecasts to highlight risks in meeting on time delivery or to highlight inaccurate data.
- Works cross-functionally with project team members to resolve issues or implement mitigation strategies.
- Acts as a resource for project team members and supports with data, analysis, and root causes of schedule variances.
- Communicates to functions impacts of execution strategy changes and resulting changes to required dates.
- Ensures reports for other functions and customers accurately reflect status of project equipment.
- Uses knowledge of best practices and how equipment schedule integrates with other source systems to solve issues as they arise.
- Uses some judgement and has some ability to propose different solutions to address more complicated project scenarios.
- Uses technical experience, analytical thinking, and business resources to arrive at solutions.
- Leverages experience and expertise to lead small projects to improve processes and tools for the Equipment Planning team.
- Supports US Equipment Planning team by leading or supporting operation rhythm meetings and processes.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in project planning or operations.

- Must be legally authorized to work in the USA without sponsorship now or in the future.
Desired Characteristics
- Established project management skills.
- Demonstrated competency with Microsoft Office tools.
- Prior planning knowledge and experience, particularly with Primavera P6.
- Experience with material ship direct equipment in the Gas Power business.
- Strong analytical skills with demonstrated ability to synthesize large quantities of data into key messages.
- Demonstrated ability to multi-task while maintaining a high attention to detail.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver while handling large numbers of diverse tasks.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.
- Demonstrated ability to adapt to changes in processes or tools.
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills, successfully navigating in a matrix environment.
The base pay range for this position is $100,100- $133,400. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for 10% performance bonus/variable incentive compensation/equity.
*The company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120%, or 130% of salary in certain areas.
