The Role

We are currently looking for a talented Document Controller to work on one of our many Water projects based in our Brisbane office.

Your key responsibilities will be:

  • Operate/interface in the project documentation systems
  • Assist the Project Manager to implement and review the effectiveness of the Document Management Plan.
  • Process incoming and outgoing project correspondence (except email)
  • Transmit approved reports, drawings and other documents to the project team and external stakeholders / third parties.
  • Maintain up to date quality documents, including the Engineering Document List and Document Codification Schedule, in the system as directed by the Delivery & Controls Manager.
  • Provide document accession numbers for new documents as requested by Team Members.
  • Maintain EDL information and authorisation list ensuring it is current
  • Ensuring all document templates are up-to-date and assisting with formatting reports and other deliverables
  • Prepare and maintain up to date a Schedule of Records.
  • Undertake general administration duties; meeting minutes, travel bookings and sub-contractor invoicing
  • Assist with compiling information for Project Dashboard and invoicing

Suitable applicants will be able to demonstrate:

  • Computer savvy with strong experience working with programs such as TeamBinder.
  • Relevant document control experience ideally gained within an engineering consultancy.
  • Well-developed administration and organisational skills with a high attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with an ability to build and develop relationships.
