The role
We are seeking a skilled Civil Structure Designer/Draftsman for an infrastructure project based in Islamabad, Pakistan. The ideal candidate will have expertise in civil and structural design, proficiency in drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit), and experience with infrastructure projects. Key responsibilities include creating accurate design drawings, collaborating with engineering teams, and ensuring compliance with project standards and regulations. This role is critical for delivering high-quality structural designs that meet project deadlines and specifications.
- Develop accurate and detailed structural designs and technical drawings.
- Liaise with projects personnel to gather data on project requirements and schedules.
- Develop installation and design concepts in conjunction with project personnel and design engineers.
- Ensure technical correctness and compliance with standard procedures and design basis.
- Ensure that schedules are met in accordance with project requirements.
- Support project timelines by delivering designs that meet quality and technical specifications.
With a track record of achievement in a related role, you will have gained your experience in a consultancy environment and have a passion for building trusted relationships to drive positive change and win new work.
Suitable applicants will have/be:
- Tertiary qualifications or a related discipline (e.g. Diploma in Civil Technology)
- Minimum 10 years proven experience in civil/structural design and drafting
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or similar software.
- Experience in infrastructure projects is preferred.
