  • Technical Contribution: Led the Primary Design Team, working within a multidisciplinary team to collect data, perform calculations, and support the preparation of design documentation that aligns with project specifications.

  • Quality and Safety Compliance: Lead the implementation and improvement of Primary design standards and processes. Ensure all design work meets ACCIONA’s quality and safety standards, including the preparation and review of Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS) and Plant Hazard Risk Assessments (PHRAs).

  • Project Collaboration: Coordinate with various engineering teams to support the timely and efficient delivery of projects.

Required Skills and Competencies

  • To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering, or a related field.

  • 5/7+ years of experience in HV primary design, preferably with exposure to transmission and distribution projects.

  • 3D modelling skills with experience using relevant software (e.g., AutoCAD Inventor, Bentley, or similar).

  • Knowledge of Australian industry standards for HV systems is preferred.

  • Effective communication and teamwork skills to collaborate across engineering disciplines.
