Job Description
Project:
HumeLink East involves the expansion of the existing Bannaby 500 kV substation, along with the design and construction of 230km of new 500 kV double circuit transmission line. This new transmission line will connect the Bannaby 500 kV substation at the Wondalga interface point with HumeLink West.
The Opportunity
In line with the above, ACCIONA are now looking for a Quality Coordinator to join the HumeLink East Project.
Key accountabilities for the position:
Interpret and implement project requirements according to specifications, codes, and standards.
Monitor and report compliance with the Project Quality Plan, specifications, and field quality control procedures.
Coordinate and conduct inspections as per Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs).
Provide technical quality support to construction teams and ensure correct documentation in Work Packs and Requisitions.
Maintain the calibration register and ensure calibrated measuring devices are available.
Verify qualifications and experience of personnel, including subcontractors, for inspection activities.
Prepare and compile inspection records, ensure quality records are completed, and assist with the resolution of technical non-conformances.
Generate accurate status reports and ensure timely closeout of Non-Conformance Records (NCRs).
Required Skills and Competencies
Bachelor's degree in civil engineering (or similar)
Previous experience in a similar position
Well-developed MS Office skills, especially Excel
Excellent problem solving abilities
Clear communication skills; adept at building relationships with diverse stakeholders.
