The Marketing Lead will lead the planning, strategic development, and execution of marketing campaigns for ACCIONA Infrastructure North America, ensuring the success of our global and local marketing strategies.
Responsibilities
- Lead the marketing content strategy and execution for ACCIONA’s corporate channels, internal and external.
- Draft compelling marketing copy to promote ACCIONA’s people and projects, sector strengths, corporate values and Sustainability Master Plan.
- Execute global corporate projects locally, including branding initiatives and campaigns.
- Identify and capitalize on newsworthy stories through collaboration with various departments and projects.
- Ability to produce content in accordance with brand guidelines, communications style guide and protocols.
- Develop and manage an advertising strategy including SEO/SEM, Google Ads, digital and print.
- Write and produce corporate materials including brochures and presentations.
- Research, track and execute award submissions, including construction project and Top Employer competitions.
- Establish and maintain positive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders across the industry.
- Manage strategic sponsorships of key associations, events and organizations.
- Develop a strategy for attendance and management of stakeholder events, including conferences and industry events, including key internal events.
- Prepare reports on social networks and impact metrics and contribute to business development reports.
- Work in close collaboration with the corporate communications team to ensure alignment across departments and objectives
- Support the business development department through marketing initiatives, including targeted speaking opportunities, interviews, content generation and thought leadership.
- Lead, coach and mentor more junior team members.
- Other duties as relevant to the role.
Special Conditions
- Position is based in Mississauga, ON but travel within North America and elsewhere may be required from time to time.
Required Skills and Competencies
- University degree in, marketing, communications, business or related field and/or a diploma in Visual or Graphic Design and a minimum 5+ years of experience in a senior writing, communications or marketing role.
- Demonstrated relevant work experience.
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office and extensive experience with CMS and social media.
- Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop Illustrator, InDesign).
- Exemplifies professionalism, exceptional judgment, and proactive initiative.
- Possesses outstanding interpersonal skills, fostering collaborative relationships across the organization.
- Demonstrates a capacity to grasp intricate concepts and details, effectively communicating them in a straightforward manner.

- Displays keen attention to detail, meticulously analyzing information to ensure accuracy and reliability.
- Skillfully manages multiple stakeholders and projects concurrently, ensuring timely delivery of positive results.

- Thrives with minimal supervision, showcasing a high degree of autonomy and directly. liaising with senior leaders and colleagues across various departments, projects, and regions.
- Excellent command of English written and oral communication skills. Ability to speak Spanish is not a requirement but is an asset.
