We are looking for a DATA ENGINEER, PROCESS AUTOMATION to join our international team. In this role you will design, develop and maintain data pipelines using tools like Celonis and MS Power Automate. You will be in a key role enabling the new ways of developing our business process automations.
You will be located in Ostrava, Czechia and report to Head of Commercial Excellence and Sustainability Digitalisation.
About the position
You will be responsible for Celonis and MS Power Automate -related data pipelines and development of new automations. You will collaborate with cross-functional international teams to understand business processes and data requirements and turn them into technical solutions. Currently Celonis is used by our Supply Chain and Logistics, and we look forward to extent automation solutions usage to other business areas like Finance.
In this role, you will:
Support the development of end-to-end process automation workflows using Celonis and MS Power Automate capabilities and external system integrations
Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines using Celonis and MS Power Automate to extract, transform, and load data from various sources
Integrate data from different systems and databases into Celonis and MS Power Automate for automated application execution
Develop and maintain connections to external systems and applications through API calls to facilitate data exchange and process optimization
Develop and maintain various data models
Write performant and easy-to-understand SQL queries
Create and optimize data dashboards for business users
Perform data quality checks and implement data governance best practices
Troubleshoot and resolve data integration and pipeline issues
Stay up-to-date with Celonis and MS Power Automate solutions, trends, and best practices in data engineering
Communicate findings and insights effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Document and promote optimization techniques
Experience with SharePoint, PowerBI, DevOps, M-Files and Salesforce is seen an advantage
About you
You are either an experienced developer/data engineer on the Celonis or MS Power Automate platform, or a full-stack developer with the willingness and enthusiasm to learn a new platform. You are a self-driven and proactive team player with excellent communication and collaboration skills. You possess strong problem-solving and analytical abilities and are eager to develop business processes and optimize ways of working.
Furthermore, our ideal candidate is or has:
Team player with willingness to co-operate and build good relationship with internal and external stakeholder parties
Preferably a university degree in technology, computer science, business analytics, or a related field
Work experience as a developer within data engineering/business analytics, with expertise in data integration and transformation
Proficiency in Celonis or MS Power Automate, including Process Mining experience, and the ability to create and manage data models
Solid experience with programming languages such as SQL and Python
Experience in API integration and Snowflake
Good command of PQL (Process Query Language)
Understanding of ERP solutions
Interest on business processes such as supply chain and logistics
Fluency in both written and spoken English
Ability to work in agile environments
