We are now looking for a 
 
Production Assembly Test Operator 
 
to join our team working for a better future. Due to our business needs we are increasing our production capability so are now looking to expand our Production capacity at our Leicester facility. The position is permanent.
 
As Production Assembly Test Operator, your work will focus on these responsibilities: 

 

  • Assemble and testing products within the organization.
  • Delivery offsite testing of products and part of factory acceptance tests.
  • Ensures compliance to product specification and that all relevant paperwork is completed accurately.
  • Initiates actions to identify and address problem areas.
  • Takes action to achieve and improve throughputs providing the management team with proposals suggestions and ideas with which to continue to force down the costs of manufacturing and recognize continuous improvement initiatives for all areas.
  • Ensuring Health and Safety compliance.
  • New product introduction.
  • Interface with engineering.
  • Repair and test multiple products.
  • Any other related duties assigned to them by their line manager.

 

To be successful in this role, we expect you to have:   

 

  • A background in mechanical assembly and/or wiring Demonstrable skills in similar testing environments 
  • Experience of using Multimeter, Power Supply and Oscilloscope would be advantageous 
  • Proven ability to solder in line with IPC standards The aptitude to pay high attention to detail and work to specified local work instructions 
  • Demonstrable skills in similar testing environments.
  • Team player and excellent communicator, who engages and collaborates with others to deliver results 
  • A keen eye for detail with a proactive approach towards problem resolution
