Mission of the Function: The Production Engineer (PE) is responsible for designing and programming electronic PC based test equipment.

- Product Design Input
- Test Equipment Design and Development
- Systems and software development
- Process Design and Development
- Planning and Project Management
- Factory/Sub-contractor/ Repairs Support
Qualifications: Minimum: B Tech Electrical Engineering light current
Desired: BSC Electrical Engineering (light current focus)
Professional Experience:
- Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in Electrical Engineering product design and development
- LabView™ programming as well as SQL, MS Access experience an advantage
- Experience in a production facility
- Experienced in test equipment design, construction and testing.
- Design, fault finding and repair experience
- Project Experience would be an advantage
Leadership Experience:
- Demonstrated experience of leading a team.
Intercultural Experience:
- Demonstrated experience of working effectively in a multi-cultural environment
Monthly Cost to company negotiable depending on Experience: R50,000.00 to R69,000.00
