We are seeking multiple skilled and detail-oriented Process Technicians or Operators to join our operations team. As a Process Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficiency, quality, and safety of our battery production processes. Your controls or process expertise will contribute to the development, optimization, and maintenance of production equipment and processes, ultimately supporting the production of high-performance batteries. This is a unique opportunity to have a direct impact on a brand new battery technology!
This role will be located at Form Factory 1 in Weirton, WV, which is just a short drive outside of Pittsburgh, PA.
Monitor and maintain production processes, equipment, and parameters to ensure consistent quality and efficiency.
Conduct regular audits and data analysis to identify deviations, trends, and opportunities for process enhancements.
Troubleshoot equipment issues, implement corrective actions, and identify areas for improvement both independently and cross-functionally.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of process parameters, maintenance activities, product performance.
Contribute to the development of standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions (WIs).
Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines, promoting a culture of safety throughout the facility.
Communicate and collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors, providing updates on process performance and project statuses.
Experience monitoring processes in an assembly, production, or related industry
Strong mechanical aptitude with a solid understanding of manufacturing equipment and processes.
Familiarity with process control systems, data analysis, and statistical methods.
Excellent problem-solving and root cause analysis skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to maintaining accurate records and documentation.
Strong communication and teamwork skills for effective collaboration within a dynamic production environment.
Adherence to safety protocols and a proactive approach to promoting a safe working environment.
Can do, hands-on attitude to problem solving and dedication to continuous improvement activities.
