Entrepreneur in Residence (EIR): Platform Sponsorship & Advertising Strategy: 4WARD.earth

Are you an entrepreneurial leader passionate about scaling climate impact through innovative business models? As EIR at 4WARD.earth (the large is local to global platform for climate and sustainability professionals), you'll spearhead the development of our platform sponsorship and advertising business, creating sustainable revenue streams that align with our mission to accelerate climate solutions.

Role Overview: Drive the strategy, development, and implementation of 4WARD.earth's sponsorship and advertising initiatives, building a new business line that connects climate-focused startups, consultants & brands with our global community.

Compensation: this is an unpaid volunteer role with a "keep what you kill" revenue-sharing focus prior to becoming a full team member with equity and stake in the company

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop innovative sponsorship products and advertising solutions

  • Lead end-to-end business development, from strategy to implementation

  • Build and manage relationships with potential sponsors and advertisers

  • Create scalable processes for campaign execution and measurement

  • Develop pricing strategies and ROI frameworks for sponsorship offerings

  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis

  • Drive sales through direct outreach and partnership development

  • Oversee campaign implementation and performance optimization

Qualifications:

  • Proven entrepreneurial experience, preferably in digital platforms or community businesses

  • Strong track record in business development and sales

  • Experience in digital advertising, sponsorship, or related revenue streams

  • Understanding of climate tech ecosystem and sustainability markets

  • Excellent negotiation and relationship-building skills

  • Strategic thinking with ability to execute tactically

  • Data-driven approach to business development and performance measurement
