Job Summary
Diagnose bus electronic revenue collection equipment programs using a variety of diagnostic equipment including the multi-meter, laptop, computer, schematics and wiring diagrams on site or on road calls. Plans and performs necessary operations for resolving issues with on-board technology. Reassembles, replace, and test components of on-board electronics. Must have the ability to troubleshoot and ensure all on-board Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) and electronic components are functioning properly. The ITS Technician must demonstrate superior customer service skills and mentoring capabilities as well as perform other duties to ensure the safe operation and efficiency of the department.

Requirements
· High School diploma or equivalent
· Able to obtain a CDL B
· Able to pass pre-employment and random drug and alcohol testing
· Able to pass pre-employment background investigation
· Strong and reliable work ethic
· Previous experience in mechanical, electrical, or electronics diagnosis and repair is preferred

· 10% of work is accomplished in doors and in air conditioned or well-ventilated facilities.
· 90% of work is accomplished outside.
· Performs physical activities that require considerable use of the arms, repetitive hand-wrist motion, and legs and moving the whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling of passengers and materials. Must be able to lift or handle up to 50-100 pounds (i.e., loading and unloading equipment, etc.).
· While performing the duties of this job, the employee frequently works in outside weather conditions. The employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals and vibrations.
