Your mission
In our AI & Data Analytics-Quality team we are seeking a highly skilled Statistical Industrial Data Analyst Expert to join our dynamic team focused on knowledge extraction of production processes data to enhancing our product quality through advanced statistical analytics to make decision based on data. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in statistical analysis, data visualization modeling applied to industrial data from production lines. This role is crucial for driving predictive analytics strategies, improving process engineering efficiencies, and ensuring high-quality outputs across our manufacturing operations. Your expertise will ensure the reliability, scalability, efficiency and extracting knowledge from our data infrastructure. 

  • Utilizing advanced statistical/ mathematical methods to analyze large datasets (senor and time series data) from cell production lines to increase OEE and
  • Developing regression/predictive/hypothesis testing models for process optimization, equipment maintenance to minimize downtime and maximize operational efficiency
  • Identifying patterns, trends, and anomalies in production data to optimize operational process parameters and enhance product quality by addressing production buttle necks
  • Conducting root cause analysis of production issues and recommend corrective actions based on data insights
  • Taking the ownership of analytics use cases and collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement data-driven solutions
  • Identifying potential statistical analytics use case for improving battery cell production procedures
  • Designing and executing experiments to validate hypotheses and improve understanding of production processes
  • Leading and developing analytics dashboards based on top technologies and our production requirements to bring results into daily life of our engineers
  • Provide presentation to communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders
  • Support students and interns to grow their knowledge and career in the world of Data and Analytics
Your profile
  • Master or PHD’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics/Mathematics/ Industrial Engineering or a related field
  • Proven experience (>5 years) in industrial data analytics, preferably within a manufacturing or production environment
  • Proficiency in statistical analysis packages in Python and familiarity with machine learning libraries (e.g., scikit-learn, TensorFlow, Keras), and data visualization tools (Power Bi)
  • Strong understanding of industrial processes, manufacturing principles, and quality control methodologies
  • Ability to interpret complex data sets and generate actionable insights to drive process improvements
  • Experience with data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model evaluation techniques
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to translate technical findings into business recommendations
  • Very good English and German language skills, both written and spoken
