Role Summary

Are you eager to shape exciting events and help redefine the future of the food industry in a motivated and forward-thinking environment? As Eventmanager (all genders) for B2B Events at ProVeg, you’ll lead diverse projects, conferences, and events that challenge your creativity, organizational skills, and dedication.
You’ll negotiate with partners, develop innovative event formats, and oversee their full planning and execution. Ideally, you bring experience in event management and are familiar with the “Alternative Proteins” sector.

Hours: 32-40 h per week Responsibilities

Project Management:

  • Develop innovative event formats in collaboration with partners
  • Conceptualize event programs and define key content with the team
  • Plan, execute, and evaluate events, including creating and monitoring project plans, budgets, and timelines
  • Coordinate invoicing processes for external stakeholders in close collaboration with the finance team
Event Logistics
  • Sponsor Management: Independently acquire and manage sponsors while implementing agreed-upon sponsor deliverables
  • Venue Management: Research, select, and negotiate with venues (online or offline)
  • Service Provider Coordination: Manage suppliers for tools, technology, catering, and other services, from offer requests to implementation
  • Speaker and Guest Management: Coordinate with speakers, sponsors, and exhibitors, including travel planning and bookings for speakers
  • On-site Event Execution: Ensure smooth event operations, including technical setup and on-site support for all participants

Communication

  • Oversee all event-related communication tasks
  • Collaborate with the web team to maintain and enhance event websites
Qualifications
  • Completed professional training or university degree (e.g., Business Administration, Sustainability Management, Sustainable Food Systems) ideally with a focus on project or event management
  • 2–5 years of professional experience in event or project management
  • Great verbal and written skills in both German and English (additional languages are a plus)
  • Willingness to travel (within Germany) and a valid drivers licence 
  • Creativity and the ability to present innovative ideas convincingly
  • Strong project planning and negotiation skills
  • Basic understanding of event marketing
  • Outstanding organizational skills with a keen eye for detail
  • Positive, proactive, and enthusiastic work attitude
