Job Description

You will work closely with the founders and executive team to develop overall business, policy, and operational strategy – and help build/support key customer relationships. You’ll have extreme ownership over your work, move quickly, and operate with high agency. As we grow, there will be opportunities to expand your role with the company.

Responsibilities may be tailored to the candidate’s profile and could include:

  • Interface with internal and external stakeholders to support the company’s commercialization goals

  • Secure formal offtake agreements and sale of fossil-free fuel via new and existing customer leads

  • Support company’s efforts around government/policy – including regulations, communication, grants, and lobbying

  • Coordinate logistical operations and manage deployment logistics (including with vendors and partners, including the commissioning of a pilot site)

  • Travel to partner sites, industry conferences, and critical meetings

  • Contribute to company’s industry-specific market strategies; ownership of outcomes and direct contribution to company commercial growth and scaling

Requirements

Successful applicants should have most of the following:

  • 7+ years of experience in commercial development and sales for the oil & gas, maritime, energy, clean fuel, or aerospace industries

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to communicate with various customers in the US and internationally

  • Seniority, know-how, and comfort engaging with a multitude of stakeholders

  • Strong understanding of challenges associated with scaling and deploying a first-of-a-kind technology

  • Strong understanding of policy regulations, certification requirements, etc. associated with energy projects

  • Experience in a high-growth environment for hardware/technology commercialization
