Currently, Vector Renewables reaches a track record of more than 65 GW in technical services, besides its current portfolio of more than 4.5 GW under management and 4.6 GW in M&A and Financial Advisory.

About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Accountant that will be responsible for the following tasks in relation to renewables energy projects which Vector Renewables manages in Mexico/LATAM for mainly international clients:

  • Company´s administrative management

  • Keep in touch directly with clients / attention to client requirements

  • Ensure compliance with the project companies’ tax obligations

  • Invoice processing and control of accounts payable

  • Bookkeeping and transaction registry (revenues, expenses, reimbursements, accruals, depreciations, amortizations, etc.)

  • Preparation of monthly and annual accounting closings

  • Preparation of internal financial statements

  • Preparation of annual accounts and budget

  • Payment administration and bank accounts reconciliation

  • Support in the audit process of the project companies

  • Preparation of financial reports requested by the clients

  • Project Finance monitoring and management of the relationship with the project Lenders

Key Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience on a similar role in an international environment

  • It will be highly valued to have experience in the power sector

  • Good knowledge of Excel and solid tax and accounting basis

  • Graduated Accountant

The ideal candidate has great organization skills and strong analysis capabilities; reliable and details oriented, service attitude and considers himself/ herself as a facilitator of the client´s processes, problem solving and improvement attitude. Autonomous when needed but also team worker, and can manage multiple activities at the same time, sometimes with close deadlines.

A good level of English is appreciated.
