Role and Responsibilities
We are seeking a full-time IT Database Integration & Automation Developer.
Reporting to the Senior Database Team Lead, the IT Database Integration & Automation Developer will be an integral part of Innovasea’s IT team, developing and maintaining a wide variety of internal tools, focusing on process automation and data integration. They will work with Innovasea locations worldwide on solutions to enhance the user experience.
Our ideal candidate is a problem solver with foresight – someone who recognizes that all implementations affect both the users and the support of those implementations for many years to come. Common to all solutions – whether a new implementation, a new integration, or a customization – will first be the evaluation of the problem.
SQL, PHP, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, C#, Java, Apex, and Python. App development, database maintenance, permission control, collaboration, and troubleshooting. Salesforce and SYSPRO. Supporting co-workers down the hall and across the ocean. This position has all of that.
You like to solve problems. We do too. Open discussions with the IT team around which problems to solve will be as important as deciding how to solve them. Innovasea’s IT team works together to improve our IT systems and to support our co-workers throughout the entire organization.
Required Skills and Experience
One to two years of software development experience
Proficiency coding PHP, JavaScript, jQuery, CSS, .NET, Java, and Python
SQL & TSQL experience
Knowledge of data modeling and systems analysis methodologies
Education
Candidates are required to have a university degree or college diploma in computer science, information technology, or related area.
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
Experience working with Syspro, Salesforce Apex, Azure, IIS and Apache
Previous experience in an IT service & support environment
