THE ROLE: The Process Operator will work in a dynamic plant/factory environment, performing various operations and tasks under close supervision. This role involves executing a series of predefined processes related to regeneration, including equipment handling, monitoring of operations, and adherence to safety and quality standards. The operator will receive guidance and support from experienced team members to ensure efficient and accurate task completion. CORE RESPONSIBILITIES: To perform the job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

  • Follows all policies and guidelines regarding workplace safety and product quality
  • Check on equipment throughout shift to ensure equipment is working properly
  • Reads and clearly follows processes that are required
  • Contributes to division results and performance
  • Takes care of internal and external customer needs and expectations

CARBON:

  • Bag products, samples and test
  • Manage spent carbon feed to reactivation furnace
  • Switch tank feed from tank to tank of spent carbon; calibrate PH probes, operate a filter press, run facility waste-water treatment plant

REGEN:

  • Sort bottles by size and resin
  • load and unload deliveries to and from regional branch
  • Operates forklift to move bottles and materials through plant and load/unload trucks; evacuates bottles

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School Diploma or GED preferred
  • Ability to communicate clearly to team members
  • Ability to follow and read instructions
  • Basic Math skills
  • Be able to complete 40 hour hazardous waste operations training
  • Some manufacturing/plant experience preferred
  • Ability to safely operate Forklift
  • Knowledge of computers

Salary range:

$39,500.00 - $63,000.00
