Your role:
Together with the O&M Team members you are responsible to:
Define O&M strategies and targets as to allow Parkwind to implement the most efficient O&M set-up in new projects in the 3 to 5 years horizon.
Trigger O&M strategy & improvement proposals to ensure the sustainability and durability of the current assets and projects, advising technical solutions towards the O&M colleagues as well as the wider Parkwind organization.
Support our business development Team and tender projects to point them in the right direction given the developing O&M Support market as well as local needs and constraints.
Assist in Parkwind`s mission to grow by cooperating in current and new R&D projects to determine how they can be translated to the business model of the O&M organization.
Take the lead in detecting new opportunities, assure careful recommendation of viable projects to the management and where relevant bring them to implementation.
Find insights in the success and fail factors of the specific strategy factors in order to determine the risk profile for Parkwind.
Be an active partner in the internal educational and knowledge sharing process.
Identify possible collaborations and partnerships in view of the longer-term growth of Parkwind. Assist with the careful analysis of such partnerships and assure successful implementation of chosen initiatives.
Flexibility (in both ways) will be a part of your function; you will need to maintain your trainings and competencies to occasionally work offshore. Travel in Belgium but also abroad will be expected in support of your tasks. You will be embedded in the O&M team under the responsibility of the Head of O&M.
Your profile:
Experience in the offshore wind industry, with a knowledge interest spanning the full scope of offshore operations (production, maintenance, logistics, networking & communications);
Master’s Degree or equivalent through experience in a relevant engineering discipline (Civil/Construction/Mechanical/Marine Engineering);
Fluent in English, knowledge of other languages is a plus;
Team player with excellent communication skills;
Diligent and capable of working autonomously;
Analytical mindset with interest in tools and support systems;
Pro-active, hands-on and solution-oriented attitude;
Safety mindset with awareness towards Quality and HSSE legislation;
Able to maintain a positive relationship with partners and stakeholder;
Able to bring theory into practice (implement change) and take ownership over complex problems;
Demonstrating an elaborate interest for new trends within the market;
