The Opportunity:

The Senior Project Engineer supports the Construction Manager in achieving safe, timely, and high-quality project completion within budget. Reporting to the Construction Manager, you will oversee planning, execution, and closure, ensuring contractual profitability and obligations are met.

Key accountabilities:

• Ensure the works are delivered to overall program cost & time with resources needed leading to a high level of client satisfaction.
• Identify and assess risk to the works as well as implementing strategies to mitigate risk.
• Use your technical skills to resolve design challenges and identify value engineering opportunities.
• Cost and forecast control to assist the managers with strategic planning.
• Lead, develop and manage teams on the ground.
• Build effective and & collaborative relationships to coordinate activities with supervisors.
• Maintaining quality, environmental, and safety systems across the project

• You will ideally have a degree in civil engineering.
• You will have extensive site experience and have demonstrated experience managing teams.
• You will be able to manage, and develop long-term programs as well as display a high level of competency around contracts, cost forecasting, & management of a large team of engineers
• Advanced communication skills and an ability to build and maintain relationships with a broad range of subcontractors, local authorities, internal staff and client representatives.
