Responsibilities:

  • Implement, maintain and improve the Environmental Management and Safety system according to ISO14001, ISO45001 and ISO5001.
  • Responsible for legal compliance and reporting and appropriate training of site responsible members.
  • Promote safety plan and eliminate or minimize risks and environmental impacts.
  • Coordinate the development of the HSE Management system and maintain revisions
  • Ensure hazardous waste storage and documentation of hazardous waste log, statements, authorizations, and other as required.
  • Investigate near misses, accidents, and incidents as well as implement and measure the effectiveness of corrective and preventative actions.
  • Implement, maintain, and improve the plant emergency response plans, including first responders
  • Responsible for contractor management safe work activities
  • Manage facilities operation services such as work permit, business feasibility, and civil safety approval while ensuring promotion of continuous improvement.
  • Participate in the evaluation of new equipment and those with repairs or modifications that could affect the operation safety.
  • Coordinates the implementation of Corporate HSE targets and activities, establishes strategies / programs related to employee health, as well as strategies to meet HSE requirements.
  • Supports HR and production in various activities including OSHA related topics.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor鈥檚 degree and/or experience in the following fields: Environmental, Health, Safety and Energy Management preferred.
  • 3-5 years of HSE experience in a manufacturing environment, automotive desirable.
  • Sound knowledge and experience in applying ISO 14001, ISO 50001, and ISO 45001 management system methodologies.
  • Knowledge of OSHA requirements and standards
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Results driven professional with a desire to grow
  • Strong safety driven individual with manufacturing facility experience
