Identify new market opportunities; develop short-term and long-term product and technology strategies for Polyurethane industry in assigned territories.
Conduct business development activities based on Chem-Trend fundamentals and business model for the purpose of meeting and exceeding the sales and margin targets, profitability and growth of Chem-Trend.
Analyze Polyurethane related market trends regularly and timely, and implement strategies to meet optimal level of customer satisfaction and ensure continuous market share improvement and profitability from the industry.
Perform gross margin management analysis and monthly sales forecast to the finance department
Regular review and initiate products upgrade and price increase for low margin business.
Develop, implement and participate in various trade shows and conventions. Organizes technical seminars and product trainings to distributors and customers.
Develop new and existing business relationships; generate and negotiate new revenues with mold release agents’ customers and distributors in assigned territories. Visit customers regularly to ensure consistent quality of our products used in the market.
Ensure global product naming policy is implemented in accordance with the requirements in the market.
Ensure that your Health, Safety and Environmental standards are in line with the company and local legal requirements.
Assist in any ad hoc projects
At least five years of working experience in technical service, sales & marketing, manufacturing and/or plant management preferably in a Polyurethane.
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering or Chemistry.
A demonstrated ability to lead and make sound decisions.
Assertive, articulate and goal-oriented with excellent business acumen and judgment.
Experience in dealing within a complex distributorship environment.
Excellent communication skills, capable of dealing effectively with high-level managers or customers.
Ability to work with and/or delegate to all levels and all functional organizational groups within the corporation.
Good spoken and written English.
