Job Description:

Hitachi Rail is looking for an enthusiastic self-motivated Access and Possession Planner who thrives in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate is comfortable performing a wide range of tasks from administrative to strategic. The position is based in Brisbane, Australia.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead and coordinate all non-SCAS corridor access requests from internal teams to gain access to project work locations

• Coordinate and manage internal and external stakeholder interfaces

• Review non-SCAS corridor access requests and resource requirements

• Hold current knowledge rail safety legislation, policies, Queensland Rail Network Rules and Procedures and trackside safety standards.

• Asist in planning SCAS possession access and optimise possession utilisation

• Develop project metrics to ensure continual improvement and delivery of the program schedule

 Skills & Experience:

• 2+ years’ experience in a similar rail and civil construction leadership role

• Construction White Card

• Outstanding planning and organisational skills

• Demonstrated experience working within a brownfield railway signalling environment

• Knowledge of software tools and technical systems

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
