Job Description:
Hitachi Rail is looking for an enthusiastic self-motivated Access and Possession Planner who thrives in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate is comfortable performing a wide range of tasks from administrative to strategic. The position is based in Brisbane, Australia.
Key responsibilities:
Lead and coordinate all non-SCAS corridor access requests from internal teams to gain access to project work locations
Coordinate and manage internal and external stakeholder interfaces
Review non-SCAS corridor access requests and resource requirements
Hold current knowledge rail safety legislation, policies, Queensland Rail Network Rules and Procedures and trackside safety standards.
Asist in planning SCAS possession access and optimise possession utilisation
Develop project metrics to ensure continual improvement and delivery of the program schedule
Skills & Experience:
2+ years’ experience in a similar rail and civil construction leadership role
Construction White Card
Outstanding planning and organisational skills
Demonstrated experience working within a brownfield railway signalling environment
Knowledge of software tools and technical systems
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
