The Finance Manager will oversee all financial aspects of the project, ensuring effective budget management, cost control, and financial reporting. This role includes preparing financial forecasts, analysing project expenses, coordinating with contractors, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. The Financial Manager will also collaborate with project stakeholders to track funding sources, manage accounts payable/receivable, and report on financial performance.

Job Description

Resposibilities:

  • Develop and manage project budgets.
  • Monitor financial progress and project costs.
  • Prepare financial reports and forecasts.
  • Ensure adherence to financial regulations and contract terms.
  • Liaise with project teams to provide financial insights.
  • Oversee project cash flow and financial risk management.
  • Manage funding allocations and track multiple revenue streams, including public and private financing.
  • Coordinate with procurement teams to ensure timely payments and contract compliance.
  • Implement financial controls and audit processes to minimize errors or discrepancies.
  • Collaborate with legal teams on financial documentation and contract reviews.
  • Lead financial meetings and communicate project financial status to senior management.
  • Develop financial strategies for cost optimization and efficiency improvements.

Required Skills and Competencies

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
  • Proven experience in construction project finance management.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
