Main Responsibilities
Provide specification for the design, procurement and construction of all stand alone and co-located storage projects;
Representing Nadara professionally, establishing and maintaining good relationships with potential suppliers;
Liaising with and managing the work of in-house and external engineers in respect of actual and new projects under development and under construction;
Attending any necessary consultations and meetings groups;
Support wider business with response to queries associated with Italy development team project progression;
Identify new technology for storage for both stand alone and co-located projects electrochemical.
Moreover you will:
Support the execution team for tecnical topic need to be followed up during the construction phase till COD;
Support the auction team to define the optimized design and CAPEX;
Support BD in manage the development activities till consent on the storage part on PV and Wind projects;
Support Project Management Team for the execution of the project till COD;
Support the auction process to ensure the award of the tariff;
Support the procurement activity and follow up of any technical activity till COD;
Prepare all documents for procurement tender;
Support Procurement as the technical reference for the discussions with main equipment suppliers (batteries, inverters etc.)
Key Requirements
Degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy Systems, or related fields in which you have gained a solid understanding of energy related engineering;
A minimum of 7-8 years of industry experience mainly in Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) design and deployment;
Experience in BESS safety, and project deployment (contracting, construction, commissioning);
Provide technical knowledge on BESS design, engineering, execution;
Support project teams with battery technology selection, sizing, and system integration;
Fluent English and Italian, Spanish will be a plus;
Ability to work in a dynamic and international environment;
Capacity to work in an international team;
Pragmatic and creative problem solving;
Excellent communication skills (internal and external stakeholders and partners, technical and non-technical).
