Educational Requirement

B.Tech/ B.E/ MCA/ M.Tech in Computer Science or equivalent

Job Description

Define, design, develop and support the architecture of Head-End System product used in the Smart-Grid Solution by collaborating with technical and non-technical business stakeholders efficiently.

1. Collaborate with peer architects, Systems Engineering and Product Management and other technical and non-technical stakeholders in the current product development process

2. Formulate and communicate technical vision and strategy to business and technical stakeholders

3. Create and improve software using the design patterns, refactoring and development best practices

4. Create database queries and scripts for multiple database engines (Oracle and SQL Server)

5. Mentor development teams around sound design and secure coding practices

6. Respond quickly to changes in requirements

7. Participate in Project planning and Estimation

8. Prepare the architectural document artefacts

9. Assist with testing software in a live environment

10. Help in troubleshooting the technical and scale issues

11. Execute architectural design spikes

12. Evaluate third party software products used in the solution as needed

13. Provide detailed & accurate estimates for code development efforts.

14. Conduct code, design and architectural reviews

15. Support and adhere to Company’s Code of Conduct and Ethics Policy.

16. Perform other duties as assigned or required.

17. Travel as needed to workshops and for any meetings at internal or external customer sites.

Required Skills

1. Exp range between 7 to 10 Yrs with hands on exp into Code Review Process and must be an Individual Contributor.

2. Experience with Visual Studio, C#, ASP.NET, MVC, .NET Framework 4.8, .Net Core, WCF, WPF, NuGet and Unit Testing Frameworks

3. Experience using UML modelling and diagramming tools like MS Visio

4. Experience in Secure coding practices

5. Exposure to Cloud, Microservices, Kafka, SOA using REST, SOAP RPC, HTTP, TCP IP, UDP Protocols

6. Experience using Oracle and/or SQL Server

7. Experience in designing highly scalable distributed system

8. Experience in responsive User Interface Development for the web, desktop or mobile devices

9. Experience in following tools: Git, Gerrit, Jenkins, SonarQube, Visual Studio 2019

10. Exposure to Metering protocols like DLMS, ANSI is a plus

11. Knowledge of IOT network stack is a plus

12. Familiarity with Linux, Java, Scala, AKKA is a plus

13. Exposure to security appliances is a plus

14. Good written and oral communication/presentation skills

15. Out of the box thinking and creative problem solving skills is desired
