We’re looking for an Transport Scheduler to join our team based in Braeside, responsible for managing all the transport requirements related to customer deliveries, returns and the movement of fleet.

What you'll do:

  • Create cost-effective and optimized transport plans.
  • Manage transport requirements aligned with vendor agreements.
  • Maintain detailed transport records for performance analysis and notify customers of delivery times and pass on additional charges if applicable.
  • Organize inter-company equipment transport, utilizing backloads and consolidated loads.
  • Monitor vendor performance and escalate failures when necessary.
  • Process purchase orders, invoices, and cost reallocations efficiently and file all relevant documentation accurately.

To thrive in this role, you'll have the following skills and experience:

  • Experience: 3+ years in transport planning.
  • Technical Proficiency: Skilled in Microsoft tools and ERP systems.
  • Customer Focus: Strong urgency for creative solutions.
  • Attention to Detail: Acute accuracy in work.
  • Multi-Tasking: Effective in fast-paced environments.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Collaborative, decisive, and result-oriented.
  • Self-Management: Ability to self-direct and manage.
