Job Description

Trek is seeking an energetic HR Coordinator who is ready to provide HR support across a variety of functions. Your responsibilities will include serving as a crucial link between employees and our benefits, payroll, and HR teams, ensuring smooth communication and efficient service. You'll partner with our HR Business Partners to assist with various programs and internal communications. This role requires strong organization, time management, attention to detail, and a “get stuff done” attitude.

What You'll Do:

  • Support Benefits Administration: Help employees understand and enroll in our benefits programs, answer questions, and solve any issues that come up.
  • Payroll Assistance: Collaborate with the payroll team to ensure everyone gets paid accurately and on time. Handle any payroll inquiries and discrepancies.
  • HR Business Partner Support: Work alongside our HR Business Partners to assist with various HR initiatives and projects.
  • Employee Liaison: Be the bridge between employees and HR, benefits, and payroll. Address employee concerns and escalate issues as needed.
  • Data Management: Maintain and update employee records in our HRIS system, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Onboarding: Assist in the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring they have a great start to their journey with us.
  • Compliance: Ensure all HR practices comply with federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Event Coordination: Help organize and coordinate employee events and activities that promote a positive workplace culture.

What You'll Bring to the role:

  • Experience: 2+ years in an HR support role, with a focus on benefits and payroll.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills. You’ll be the go-to person for many, so being clear and approachable is key.
  • Tech Savvy: Comfortable using HRIS systems (Workday) and Microsoft Office Suite. Experience with payroll software is a plus.
  • Problem-Solver: Ability to critically think, analyze, and resolve issues with a positive attitude.
  • Detail-Oriented: Strong attention to detail, especially when it comes to data management and compliance.
  • Team Player: Willingness to jump in and help wherever needed. Collaboration is crucial.
  • Passion for the Outdoors: An understanding and appreciation of our brand’s mission and values.
