The focus of the role is to provide a high degree of financial transparency and business modeling across the company and facilitate business decision coordination with all departments.</p><p>If you are detail-oriented, proactive and enjoy a challenge then we want to talk with you! </p><p> </p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Logistics Cost Tracking &amp; Reporting</li><li>Track actual logistics costs (freight, warehousing, handling, packaging).</li><li>⁠Prepare monthly cost reports vs. budget/forecast.</li><li>Identify and report variances with root cause analysis</li><li>Cost Optimization &amp; Projects</li><li>Support logistics cost savings initiatives (route optimization, load planning, backhauling).</li><li>⁠Analyze ROI/NPV for logistics infrastructure investments (warehouses, hubs).</li><li>Contribute to process automation and digitization in logistics finance.</li><li>Be responsible for modeling business cases for multiple projects for manufacturing logistics / supply chain footprint.</li><li>Develop profitability models estimating capital payback periods and rates of return.</li><li>Consolidate and analyze financial data including budget, forecast and actuals reconciliations, period-to-period variance analysis, analyzing cost deviation with variance explanations.</li><li>Supports operating team alignment and decision making as pertains to financial implications; present data in cohesive reports that provide clear communication and recommendations.</li><li>Partner closely with the operating team to understand financial inputs regarding material planning, material demand and forecasting, in order to provide guidance on operating decisions.</li><li>Additional ad-hoc assignments and projects supporting departments across the organization including month-end financial reporting, longer-term Business Plan development, benchmarking, and process analysis. </li><li>Provide new perspective to identify and propose opportunities for improvement across processes and business functions.</li></ul><p> </p><p><strong>Skills:</strong></p><ul><li>Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.</li><li>Ability to work in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.</li><li>Attention to detail and commitment to continuous improvement.</li><li>Demonstrated effective written, interpersonal and oral communication skills</li></ul><p> </p><p><strong>Minimum Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting or related field</li><li>Master’s degree in business administration (MBA) – preferred</li><li>At least 10 years’ relevant experience</li><li>Proven technical, quantitative and critical-thinking skills, high level of independent judgment, initiative and creativity to identify and clearly communicate key performance drivers to management</li><li>Ability to manage multiple projects and assignments with a high degree of autonomy and accountability for results</li><li>Established ability using Microsoft Office software with a high proficiency with Excel</li><li>Finance analyst experience at an Automotive OEM or Tier 1 Supplier – a huge plus!</li></ul><div><div><p><strong>Additional Compensation and Benefits</strong>: Lucid offers a wide range of competitive benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability insurance, vacation, and 401k.
