The Field Operations Specialist is responsible for providing technical expertise and support to ensure that field rental processes and activities meet standards. This role involves conducting project start-up, set up, teardown light duty delivery, asset management, project evaluation and implementing rental plans. The Field and Rental Operations Specialist works closely with cross-functional teams to address rental issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions. Additionally, this role involves customer interaction by supporting the Sales and Operations team.
Job Summary:

The Field and Rental Operations Specialist works closely with cross-functional teams to address rental issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions. Additionally, this role involves customer interaction by supporting the Sales and Operations team.
Responsibilities:
• Respond to customer inquiries and requests in a timely and professional manner
• Assist customers with rental delivery start up, set-up, tear down activities
• Handle customer complaints and escalate to management when necessary
• Set up various Xylem assets to include pumping bypass equipment – Pump, HDPE, Hose / Pipe, Connection Fittings, Accessories
• Deliver equipment to various customer job sites via heavy duty and light duty vehicles
• Handle customer complaints and escalate to management when necessary
Rental Management
• Monitor rental inventory and ensure proper maintenance and repairs are conducted
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and timely deliveries
• Conduct regular inspections of rental equipment for safety and functionality
Equipment Maintenance
• Provide predictive maintenance through Field Smart Technology monitoring and set-up
• Conduct Yard maintenance support in preparation for deliveries and upon returns
• Monitor inventory levels and order necessary supplies
Reporting
• Prepare reports for management on rental performance and make recommendations for improvement
• Identify trends and potential issues in rental operations and provide solutions
Compliance and Safety
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies
• Conduct safety trainings
• Perform regular safety inspections on rental equipment and facilities
• Report and address any safety concerns immediately.
Qualifications:
• In-depth understanding of inventory management to include set up, tear down, start up of dewatering pump applications.
• Ability to work collaboratively with other departments to resolve inventory issues.
• Proven ability to influence and drive change across various levels of the organization.
• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively convey complex information to Managers.
• Solid project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
• Able to maintain CDL A License
• Able to maintain Boom / Crane License
• Able to maintain Fusion certification
Pay range: $30- $32/hourly

Salary range:
